Does the std Tappet cover fit over 1.5 roller rockers or do you need an alloy cover. This is on a 1275 Mk2 engine.

Yes it should fit. Mine standard one fits over the MED 1.5 roller rockers that i have.

Alloy covers are thicker material and so (generally??) smaller on the inside ...

My MiniSpares item needed a flycut to allow clearance for Titan 1.5 rollers....

Thanks for the replies. Mine are MiniSport, so I'll wait and see what happens on assembly. They look as though a std cover will be ok.

The alloy cover fits over Yella Terra 1.5 rockers. As does the standard cover.

(Though I realise that information is of zero benefit for you :D )

I have Titan 1.5s in my speedway Mini and that has a standard tappet cover.
