Hi all

Was hoping I could get some info with regards to radio refurb:

1. Are replacement speakers readily available (NOS?)
2. Have I identified these correctly
A = Earthing
B = Power
C = Antenna

Grateful for any info.

Do you have the rest of the metal for it that fits around the sides with 6 self tappers 3 each side and goes the length of the dash to fire wall and theres another screw that goes through underneath the dash to

All looks correct with the letters

I don't think its a original Leyland radio I have 2 here made by different company's but with a Leyland part number on them

The speaker would be quite hard to get but there are places that do refurbish them and theres a sort of black felt cloth that goes between the speaker and speaker grill

Don't use thinners or any thing harsh if your gonna clean it as the mini and solid state disappears quite easy

I have 2 of these compete and one front peice and they are a rare item

No, that's all I have. Could you post a pic of the other bit required and I'll try and get one (unless you are willing to part with yours?) :)

Cheers

I'll get a pic

Also that plastic piece behind the chrome knobs shouldn't be there and there should be spacers behind around the vol and tune knob they look to be brass tubes

Fair enough :)

Thanks for the pics, very helpful. That radio looks in excellent condition; pretty much like new.

Cheers
