Anton, not all 1275 LS's had driving lights, check for big left hand tank, if it still has the berger paint sticker on the inner gaurd stating if it was nugget gold or hi ho silver, 12 inch spare tyre, dual circuit master cylinder.

Doogie

And a smaller battery- the stock one won't fit in with the 12" hi-profile spare.

Nar, i've got a big arse battery in mine and it fits. Don't think the spare comes close. Standard 12" spare and all...

More like 1000 of em made, not the 300 he said!

Anyone get the body number?

My LS had the biggest battery that would fit in the hole and the spare wheel fitted in. The tyres were a low profile 12".
The size is 145/70/12.

Did the LS come out with 145-12 tyres or 145/70-12?

My boss's stocko 1275LS has the 12" mag in there with the standard? hi-profile skinny spare on. Diameter is bloody huge. I bought a 550CCA Exide battery like mine, and no way that spare would fit with the battery in. Nor would the stock battery clamp reach properly. I had to take it back and swap for a pissy 380CCA.. :x

They were 145/70-12.
They were the same diameter as the 10" tyres on a normal mini (give or take ¼")

The body number on my 1275 LS goes XNFAD..... I think that only 1275 LSs had that particular combo.

The 1275LS block also differs slightly from 1100S in the way that there is no hole in the block above the centre main bearing cap. However, if it is the one that was at Brickworx in SA, it does now have an 1100S motor in it. The 1275 LS also got all A+ Gears and Lay Shaft.
