This seems like a good time to remind everybody to report anything they think is outside the forum rules by using the report button - the little red exclamation mark ! at the bottom right of all posts. That way it is brought to a moderators attention when one is next online. I don't know about the other moderators but I certainly don't read every post on here. We need everyone's help to maintain the good standing of Ausmini.

I think the original owners who did specialise in MGs as suggested, sold the business a few years ago. The business seems to have more variety in the cars offered for sale (not all MGs and British like they once were). I assume that means they are specialising less so in just MGs.

That was the Joe Armour place. I got a lot of stuff from there myself 25 years ago. Somehow doubt the Armours are involved at all with the place now. Joe had a sports sedan Mini at one stage.

cheers

I was still well known to all the teachers that were there back in the day at the 50th anniversary of the opening the joint in 59 in 09 when they had it

It was sort of a beers wine bqq and a walk around the new buildings arvo night thing I think I was the only one there from the leaving year 1990

And I do vaguely remember your name

Toms dad owns the bugeye sprite I've mentioned on this topic he's my dads brother and both are ex doms to they went there as well in the early 60s

Andrews mum is there sister

Hi John,

I don't think the rules have changed at all...I was asking a question and just reminding people to play nice on the forum.

Cheers, Mick

Hi Mick,
That was badly worded by Me, I was trying to point out that you were not trying to break the rules
In Fact, as I understand the rules you were totally within the rules,
My question was also badly directed. I sincerely apologise if I offended You
