Hi all, I was doing some work on the shell, getting it ready for paint, stripping it down and whatnot. Then i came across this little turn switch. For the life of me nor dad, can either of us figure out what it would have been for...it doesnt look factory, possibly a period modification. It was located down towards the bottom right of the steering wheel, screwed to the underside of the lower dash rail. Any help is appreciated, cheers,

Phil

There's some PWM ones available for $5.10 there was a recent Autospeed article on them... seems like brilliant value!

Great post.
I found one on the rust bucket and also wondered what it was for.
:)

Winabbey, do you have a copy of the separate radio booklet the operator's manual talks about? I'm after some details & diagrams so I can refurbish the radio correctly.

Its a Variable resistor same thing as a old treble or bass knob in a stereo or radio

You could even probably use one out of a old stereo or radio to replace it if it didn't work and stuck finding one
