Gotta be cheaper than a paint job... :) And it doesn't blow off on the V8 Supercars!
Btw ignore the color, I am interested in the application and durability.

BTW Mick, the Jeep will get a 2 pack paint job on the bonnet, after Laingy and I rip into it with our abrasive goodies.

Save your money Doc and put it towards a paint job.
I have done a course in vehicle wrapping and the first thing they tell you is that it can not be used as a substitute for a failing paint finish, It is to be put over factory paint. We wrapped our ute about 10 years ago and after 5 years we were pulling it off as it started to look ordinary and we used 3M material. I would suggest that you don't put yourself through the agony of trying to do it as there is more to it than meets the eye.

I know they banged it over a crappy paint job on the video but no one sees the follow up video when it starts to fail.

I've done a wrapping course as well, it would suck trying to get it to sit in over the seams and gutters properly..... Having said that I'm doing the roof of mine so I can chop and change colours if I get bored!

I have the roof wrapped on my mini. We did the body work and 2pack painted it in a booth. I then got a professional to put matt black wrap on the roof. It looks really good but it was very hard to get it into the seams. You can tell its a wrap when you look down into the seams but I am very happy with it.
I agree with miniandrew about chopping and changing colours. At some stage I will take it off and put something else on there. Maybe a printed effect or logo.
Since it is pretty much just a 'thin top coat' any imperfections will show through.
