My Oil filter housing the spin on type is leaking oil

Its a 1300 land crab spin on filter housing.

I have read that high reving minis can have problems. I have been driving it with passion. Its a 1360 modified engine etc.

I have checked the housing for cracks etc, new gasket, its tight on the block, Wipex filter.
any thoughts.

Is it the gasket flange, or a crack in the body? The stock spin on gasket is flimsy, I made my own.
File the flange to ensure it's flat.

Thanks Kev

The gasket is of a decent quality.

I did check if the flange was flat with a steel rule and some feeler guages and it looked fine.

Theres not much too go wrong. It was in the engine bay fire I had so may be its warped a little.

I may have to find another one and swap it out.

It did happen after a reasonably hard run

I would file it to ensure it is flat. Even over tightening the bolts can bend it. The fire would maybe have warped it.
