Well my garage is looking very full now as i have just bought TKs delux shell to add to the other two leyland minis i have
but my problem is not that i have no tools but no where to put them i went to super cheap today to try and buy a cabinent of sorts but for something decent size it was like 400 bucks
and it was sh#@ anyways what do you guys do and places sell decent cabinets something around 200ish

look on ebay....

or get a tool board... (peg board..) from the hardware store..

a couple of years back i was given 2 oil heating tanks,you know about 1200x1000x500(they mount to the side of a house)i made 1 into a trailer for the ride on and after seeing a mates sidchrome wallmount box cut the front out of the tank and made it into a large wall mounted toolbox being thick sheet steel i welded shelves and hooks where i wanted them alot cheaper than a brand name and more practical!

Peg boards are the best imo , at least then you can spot the tool you need at a glance and don't have to spend 10 minutes digging through draws on a tool trolley

I hate peg board. The bloody hooks always come off with the tools. I have a tool board 9 metres long and 900 deep. It is made of stock size floor panels and has been up for about 20 years. Get a cordless screw driver and a couple of hundred screws and start hanging up tools. Underneath the board are narrow timber shelves with bits of wooden dowel sticking out of it with each dowel holding a socket (100's). Plan it all and list everything as you do it because if some low life pinches it all you will not remember half of what you have got for insurance purposes. My mate was done over and he never claimed it all due to not having lists. Photos aren't a bad idea either.
