Is it a clubman or a round nose?

Hay, it's not about the car, it's not about the venue, it's about the people that come here. Peter Dwyer, Mayor of Hay NSW.

Hi

I think it would be better if you could provide more information, as already said, clubbie or round nose.

Also where are the numbers you have quoted?

Is there an id plate? Is there numbers on the radiator support panel?

Cheers
Steve

I would guess (and it is a guess) that it is a Mini S (or SS or LS) made between 73 and 78.

More info and I can narrow it down a little.

There are no other numbers on the body anywere.
M2
22
003
PA

As above is stamped in the bulk head fire wall

The starter motor has 1971 stamped on it.

Chassis plate and info is still in the shed 4 hours drive away

Thanks

When the car was made it would have had numbers on the flat panel on the top of the radiator shoud.

So it has a chassis plate. If you can provide the first bit of the chassis number I can tell you what it is. The plate will also have a date on it.

In late 76 (I think) they deleted the big hole (with a plate over it) in the middle of the firewall, if it has the big hole it is before late 76.

Unfortunately those numbers by themselves don't mean a lot other than it's a square nosed mini of some form but not a GT as they were stamped M23 . How many coats of paint are there on the radiator shroud , is it possible the chassis number is hidden under the paint there ?

Those numbers alone aren't enough to identify or register the mini , you'll need to find the chassis/body number .
