Pretty much the middle of the A panel... but I'll bet someone has the exact measurements :)

Cheers, Ian

Someone once posted here that the stickers were dealer fitted and therefore at the discretion of the "fitter". But I would guess there would have been some instructions about location for uniformity.
As Ian said. Mine are in the middle of an imaginary horizontal line from where the external side seam meets the wheel arch back to the door frame edge.

If you Google "Mini K" there's some images you could use as a reference. Such as:

Here are 2 period photos. One sticker is higher than the other. I would assume that they were to be fitted centrally on the A panel but not to any specific template.

This photo was taken from an unrestored one owner Mini K. Just another one for you to compare to.

or, the demonstrator model, rally mule, dealer demonstrator whatever, has had a whack on the drivers side front and been re-sprayed and re-stickered...

I would say there is probably a “correct” location indicated by an engineering drawing. However, my Dad worked there as a design engineer and by far the biggest frustration was that assembly instructions were often not followed at the factory floor. If they struggled with correct assembly of important parts of the car I can’t see them ever being consistent with a sticker!!

Interesting about dealers fitting. That’s possible. Cars often left the factory with things like wipers and hubcaps not fitted and same as today the dealer would be doing some prep work such as maybe fitting carpets, removing protective plastic from seats and bumpers, polishing etc. so it’s quite possible they left the stickers for the dealer.

It seems it’s half way between the upper and lower door hinge

Thanks Winabbey

After looking at many it seems your photo is the correct position for the sticker.
