Nice engines guys!

Kev B, WOW! yours has really come along  Nice work! can't wait to see it in person. Where are you finding PCV gear from? I might need to connect PCVs... either that or small KN filters...

Thanks chong.
I'm getting them from the same place as you - the Kings Langley surgery!.
Yeah I've seen the small filter pods people put on, they do look good but I think I'd rather stick with the PCV valve fed back into the manifold. I doubt I'll ever race it so shouldn't need to worry about a spew bottle. :)

Hey Curly, this looks like exactly the same weber as I have (put havent put it on yet). Whats that hose going over and into the top?

Most Weber set ups look petty much the same, with Grp Nb cars you aren't allowed to remove any bodywork (ie. firewall), to form an airbox and the speedo needs to remain in place, you therefore need to compromise between running a nice long manifold and no air filters, or air filters and a shorter (less efficient) manifold. The set up illustrated uses a home made manifold adapted from a couple of commercial varieties and a HP filter that has small 'ram tube' type castings built into the base plate. Unless you can afford regular rebuilds, an airfilter on a road car is vital. :?
The hose running across the carby is the fuel line. The larger hose connected to the rocker cover is one of a pair of breather pipes that run to a catch tank on the inner guard.
