IF the rad place takes both the tanks off, acid dips it and rods the cores out properly..
But often on an old rad the core is not worth this trouble due to external damage etc.
I used to have a workshop and had to get radiators fixed every day. You could count on one finger the number of times it was possible to rod and clean a radiator. The stuff sets like cement by the time the problems become evident. Labour costs make it non viable and a recore or nrw radiator is cheaper and better. I bet you couldn't get a recore for the price Karcraft are selling them for. Are they being made in China?
