Anonymous moderation means the agro that is built up towards the mods isn't aimed at an individual (fewer "Makk" attacks). Less stress for mods means less moderator "retirements".

once again... great buy

ive been told you can tell if its a cooper head by the numbers on the head.
im slightly curious with my matic (told some have cooper heads)
what numbers would say?

my brother is colour blind and put that up way back in the 70's lol
one day i'll doo somthing bout it but it is friggin hard to get of the walls even with a steamer :(

These numbers are CAST onto the head, under rocker cover:

Head on 998 `matic is 12A1456
Cooper 997 head is 12G202 (also Morris 1100)
Cooper 998 head is 12G295 (early were 12G206, pretty much the same)

Morris 1100S head is 12G940- some stamped 12G938 near t'stat- 33 mm inlets
Oz Cooper S MK2 head is 12G940- most stamped 12G1805 near t'stat- 35.6 inlets
1275LS head is 12G1316- 33mm inlets- `smog' head
1275 late Moke is 12G1316- 33mm inlets- `smog' head

Note- 12G1316 head is pretty much a 940 with 4 air injection ports added.

I thought the 998 matics had a 12G202 head and a HS4 carb? They needed them to get some extra power to drive the torque converter!
