Okkher
I've got my new (SH) shocks in the back and it's now handling like i expect a mini to handle...
So I took him for a "quick" run this morning and as i went the old boy just got smoother and smoother.. a right royal dusting of the cobwebs
so now i'm back, after 3 hours
something i've noticed as a result of this mornings effort is that on long sweeping (quickish) left hand turns there seems to be a small amount of play in the steering... there's about an inch of turn before anything decent starts to happen and it doesn't seem to have much fedback as a similar right turn does.
and on a heavy left turn, i can hear a creaking from the rear right.. the shocker that i removed from there yesterday was totally cactus.
what's going on mini brains?
edit.. i should've taken my camera too.. it was a nice tour..
lenswood, woodside, oabank, balhannah, littlehampton, naire, mt barker springs, upto the mt barker summit, nairne, littlehampton, mt barker, hahndorf, balhananh, mt barker, then back home via balhannah again
on the road into balhannah, something happened that i've been keen to experience since getting the mini...
i found myself with a rather impatient honda crv behind me

(same model as mine) so i sped up... and he did too...good... i've wanted to compare this for a while.... and it was great... it took about 2 corners and then he backed off
