Question... i jus got a GRE manifold for my HIF44 but there is a problem... there is no where to put a bracket to hold the accelerator cable in place?
does anyone have pic of one with a bracket? or do i even need the bracket?

I have a GR manifold and the cables go through a bracket that sits between the carby and the manifold. see pic.

Nothing is attached to the manifold.

You also need a HIF style accelerator cable - I am sure others can be made to fit but the HIF one is just sooo easy.

It has a nylon end piece molded into which clips onto the throttle sandwhich bracket.

The HIF throttle cable is normally yellow as in the previous photo

use the standard Mini bracket, just as Simple Simon has done. Then you can use the same choke and accelerator cable. Simple really :lol:
