only ones that arent all that wonderful...this applies to clubmans too i believe...by body work we are talking not even the inside walls of the engine bay i am assuming?

and erm...that means ? ... im looking into conversions that dont involve too much effort (although its still gonne just as much as any conversion) becuase its a heck of a lot easier than working out power steering/ Airconditioning on its own... as well as the fact the a/c costs like $880.. it works out cheaper and something around 1.3/l would be good.. just enough to give commies a little scare..

i dont know of any modern engines that are equal in size to or smaller than an a-series (maybe there are some 3cyl ones kicking around that are)...the a-series gb is in its sump...and so that saves ALOT of space...

Maybe a 3cyl Daihatsu that's pretty small even with the gearbox on the side and the turbo ones make about 100hp fully tricked up...? I wish someone made a V4 FWD engine that would cut down the size a bit.

Maybe use a Suzuki Vitara V6?

Image

Can't think of a smaller readily available V6

isnt it nth/sth? i woulda thought the 1.8L mazda 30x motor woulda been yer best bet for a v6 conversion...

as for v4...why bother :P just go in-line 4 and pick something not enormous (<1.6L)...a bit of panel cutting is all part of the fun :)
