My son's Clubbie rusted right thru from the top, in the RF corner, it took me about 4 hours to patch weld it. Bastard of a spot to get into without burning the roof lining etc...

doc i think ive got a couple of places up there like that
how do you fix it before it gets worse?

my instinct is that id attack it with a screw driver until i see bare clean metal
and then sand out
rust convert
and paint over

this job would be in the bottom of the gutters, and only about 1cm strip wide
and i'd do it with a little paint brush

Yeah that method's OK if there's still metal there... The screwdriver went right thru on this one, both above and below the gutter!
I had to dress it out with the die grinder, then cut and bend 2 thumbnail-sized patches, then MIG weld them in, without setting the hood lining etc afire. Not a nice job.... :x

No this was RH front corner of gutter, above driver's door. Where they all seem to rust first!! At least there's no wiring in there, unlike the LH side...

There is a mini van rotisserie on the vmci website if it helps. Might still be for sale as it has been on there for a while. Only for $50.

I called him and he had sold it. I have come up with a rotisarrie myself taking into account: Portability, starage ability, stability, adjustable height, and rotational locking. Unfortunatly the ends are "A" type frames and hinder single pass spraying.
