I'm running one of the set's that kev made on my clubby. I had leaky drums on the front that were stuffed so the concern i think of having these fail and someone running up your rear is alot less of a concern with them on then without.
They stop brilliantly and will out stop any factory disc braked mini, except maybe 4pot metro's.
I have tested? them now for maybe 2years and have not had a single problem with countless abuse (alot of people see how i treat them) including plenty of track time and they had no fade at all and never complained.
Now i do not believe that most people putting these on will treat them as harsh as i do so i can't see any problem as long as the quality of the work is up to scratch.
I'm putting in a 4EFTE and aiming to push 200HP through the front wheels. No way am i going to trust them with that kind of power though as the drum cv's were originally designed for what..25HP at the wheels?
Hence why i am upgrading to vented 6pots (i have money now - the honda setup cost me 10% of what an S setup would have) but these brakes will be going on my moke.
