They decided to change the front of the classic shaped mini as it was seen as dated and old hat in the 70's. It was an improvement and is still superior
Which has stood the test of time?? well that is depending on what country u are in... if u go in terms of Australia(the land of the bronzd aussie, beaches, sun surf and good weather), then u would say the clubman was the last one made and stood the test of time very welll...
... if u choose to rely on english taste (the nationality that cooks with lard, eats excessive amounts of bangers and mash, have terrible teeeth, still worship the royal family, wear bearskins on their heads and whose males have wierd fetishes) then u would say the round nose has stood the test of time.......
I know which model i think stands the test of time.. if u like to drive a car that looks like queen elizabeth herself would drive it then go and drive the ornate and pretty Round nose...
... If u would like to see the car that is a little more aggressivly styled and masculin then buy a clubby....
clubmans are beautiful for what they are??? well that is way to patronising for my liking
If you wish to drive a Round nose than that is ok....... to me i think a roundnose looks like a little sister to a morris minor... and if u think that is styling at its best i guess u belong in a roundnose
