when i push my clutch in its harder than usual.. and its slow to return (but still driveable ..just) i was planning on changing the slave cylinder... is this ther right way to go... ? any idea's ?

Make sure there is no air in the system.
Inspect the hose for any splits or leaks where they go in to the slave or out from the master.
Bleed the clutch.
Then if your problems persist, please see your health care professional.

lead has a leak just before or at ther slave connection... i know that...

Replace the hose. Over time they swell internally, restricting flow. This would give you the symptoms you describe. The hose is pretty cheap from a brake 'n' clutch place who probably have them in stock.
