Hi,

If I pull back the carpet, clean it all up, wire brush it, rust convert it, and supply the floor pans... how much would a panel beater charge to weld in the new floor pans? (I need front left and front right)

I dont need him to seal it, i'll seal, paint, etc... just cant weld.

Peter.

PS: Im in Sydney (Hills area of course)

Don'r `rust convert' it until after welding. MIG doesn't like it...
Trust me, I'm a welder....

i need the same but have rust converted surley you can just sand back the area to be welded as your cutting most of it out anyways??
the thing i wanna know is - is it bracing really needed to do it what if you do one side at a time still need to brace the body :?:

The rust converter is phosphoric acid, it not only stinks when welded but upsets the arc, similar to welding over zinc.
sanding would help, but better not to convert it until welded.
