If yer car came out of the factory with that option then it's legal. They cant say crap, because the manufacturer had to pass all ADR's to make them legal. If the mini came out Lower than 100mm, too bad.

Rearward facing bonnet scoops are illegal(if the engine blow up it'll throw oil over the windscreen). But if ya have an A9X Torana, they cant do diddly about it, coz that's how it came outta the factory.
ADR's BLAH BLAH BLAH

Ok, here's another one of South Australia's funny rules....

Aftermarket bonnet scoops MUST open rearwards.

I bolted an UNMODIFIED Holden Jackaroo scoop on my Mazda, it doesnt even block my vision, but its illegal cos it faces forwards - just like on a Jackaroo.

The mini factory didnt produce Supercharged Minis. The kits are ALL aftermarket.

In South Australia, you can supercharge ANY car built before 1969....WITHOUT getting it engineered

This car is not comparable to other minis in SA. The shell was built by "Rover", which is a different manufacturer to Morris and Leyland, so technically its an English 1989 Rover Mini shell. It has totally different rulings to the Austrailan minis, and is regarded as a totally different car. Stupid, huh!

Another thing that worries me...

Im not sure if the wank.... um.... BOYS at regency are allowed to say "We still want a certificate to prove that its strong enough"....... Are they able to override the rules if they dont THINK its safe?????
