I've oiled the SU maybe 2 months ago and the car was driving fine before.
checked the fuse and they all good, no shorting marks anywhere

I'm checking the alternator now...

On some multimeters u actually have to take the probe out of the multimeter itself and put it into the socket to measure current.? Or its a possibility that the internal fuse for the current measurement has blown?

Something must b causing ur battery to go flat. There should be some sort of current draw if there is a fault there...

That wire should be going to the + terminal of ur alternator. That is the charge wire. It really should be heavier gauge then that!

I use green dot for the switched 12v from my ignition,
Light Blue dot: 12v from battery
Pink dot: i dont use
Yellow dot: I dont use
White dot: either + or - of coil
Gold dot: either + or - of coil

I'm sorry I should've stated above that I just found that pic from someone else's post

that pic is not my engine

I know the +ve thicker brown wire goes to the alternator but I have two more brown ones which are thinner than the brown power wire that goes to the yellow dot on the above pic.

I found one of the brown wire has a cut and very little of the copper is making contact so thought that might be causing the issue. But I dont think the wire I'm talking about is not going to the alternator.

I'm at work right now so cant take a photo of my engine bay.

That light blue terminal will just have 12v on it. So those other wires mite be for other accessories?

I just put my battery, left it overnight to recharge and I think my alternator is not charging the battery.

on Idle its 13.5V, 1500 - 2000 rpm and its only getting 14.0 V
then put the headlights on and the voltage on the battery went to 13.3V and slowly dropping

It shouldnt go over 14v 13.8 is ideal. But if the batt voltage is dropping then the alternator isnt charging. U shold b able to rev the engine and see the voltage rise.

It should be instant.

Take the alternator off and take it into a Auto Electrician, then can stick it on the bench and check it out in like 5 mins.
