If you mean the large one on the front subframe then it's 15/16

The end that goes into the drum backing plate...might be the same size?

Are the hose fittings the same for disc and drum?

No that's a different size, 5/8 spanner, but it's a bad fit usually.

Yeah, I'm not sure about the spanner type, might be right about whitworth or some other archaic AF size.

Good thing about the old hoses is that as they are usually crapped, i don't mind going them with a vice-grip if I'm throwing them out and that way avoiding the nastiness :)

Sounds rough i know, but i usually use a pair of Vice Grips before even attempting the spanners.

If you get a good solid grip the first time then you avoid damaging the hoses. Always seem to use the spanner, then end up using Vice Grips anyways.

Seems to work for me.

I tried before to use a 15mm for shits and giggles . At least on my set of old old old old hoses, 15 mm won't quite do it, it seems a poofteenth to big to get the spanner over. But with some malice and a hammer.....

 Just get an old 15mm spanner (they fit nothing anyway) and file it until it's a neat fit. 8)
