i can't help to wade in here
i am a coke addict i drink at least 2 litres a day (the cheap stuff) i have used it for almost everything

believe it or not though the one 101 use that not many other people have used it for is lead acid battery rejuvination when your car battery dies or or stranded somwhere with a dead battery and happen to have a few litres of coke handy top up the battery with it...
it'll suprise you .....

or if you have a battery that is stuffed just fill it with coke let it sit a while and then re fill it with battery acid...

Mythbusters just tested cola in the radiator in the event of running out of coolant, and it came back as "plausible".

They also punctured a radiator, and test if they could seal it by putting a fresh egg into the radiator. It worked and it sealed the leak.

Coke has phosphoric acid in it and that is what gets rid of the rust - same as the rust converters on the market. As for acid and your stomach - the stomach secretes enough Hydrochloric Acid (stronger than Phosphoric) after a meal to dissolve a steel plate 3 feet square and 1 inch thick.

You feel hungry after drinking coke (or any sugar laden drink/food) because the body over secretes insulin to cope with the sugar rush and the rebound makes you feel hungry - so you eat more - and you have more rebound - so you eat more - get the picture. This leads to Type 2 diabetes ( the body can't produce insulin for ever) and obesity. You are better off eating protein bars (check the carbohydrate(sugar) levels) and drinking water - a lot of thirst is felt as hunger so drinking water stops the hunger.
