:oops: Are the magnets inside the filter or attached to the outside and the "powerfulness" holds metal particals against the oil filter wall? :oops:

Normally put on the outside and they trap the super fine bits of swarf in the filter against the metal casing rather then lettng them flow around again . I've had a motor drop a thrust washer into the gearbox and reduce it to superfine metalic sludge that chewed the bearings , this is a great idea .
