ive done a search, cant find it. but i know it MUST be on here somehwere.

whats the oil capacity for a 998 A=? its 4 litres yes?

i should know this by now... :oops:

I usually have a little left over from 5 litres when I change a filter as well as oil.

Actually, it's 8.5 Imperial pints, but in todays currency, that's 4.83 litres.

So, if you leave a litre and a 'bit' in the bottle , you'll be right Dylan.

Ah yes, that includes the filter :P

Wait until it drains down, or even spin the starter a couple times. It takes a while to drain down through the head and block. Either that, or you didn't drain it all out. Mini sump is a shocking design for geting it all.

dont you worry about that young grasshopper! :D i warmed ujp the oil and let it drain for aaaaaaaaaaggeeeeesssss, with the passenger side lifted up a bit for a while.

then, i put about 4L of oil in, so should be all cool :wink:
