I'm one very happy camper.

The second I put the wheels on and stood back, the best kept secret in mini ownership hit me "CLUBBIES ARE THE BEST LOOKING MINIS".

After I had the camber and castor set up the hadling improved out of site. And if you think a mini handles the corners well, ya gotta drive one with a LSD  worth the little but of extra work required to keep her going in a straight line.

All thst is left now is the roll cage.

There is a plate bolted to the subfrae just behind the licnce plate and we welded a loop to it.

At the last minute I said "lets put pins in the rear corners and get rid of the bonnet hinges, it was a pain in the ass of a job but worth it as it os a little raised at the back now. THe extra radiator means the temp does not go over 1/4 and we even found a few strange things to fix while we were at it.

A small problem with the fan rubbing if the radiator shroud under load should not be too hard to fix and I even got rid of the play in the steering which is now tight as.

Cant wait for the 2nd to take her for a really good long run.

Thanks Guys

A bif thanks must go to Dr Mini who was nice enough to take a call from me Christams eve while he was preparing the family's Christmas diner and stil managed to help me out.

Just before I picked the car up Christmas eve Garry re tensioned the head. Unfortunatly the dodgy chrome rocker cover does not allow the gasket to sea properly and by the time I got home oil was piising out the front and back of the rocker. However with Kev's experience he new exactly how to fix it and Christmas morning I had the tool and it it was fixed in no time.

yeah the wheels make all the difference, it just proves my opinion that 12 inch wheels are the best looking.

Gafmo

They ran out of time of Christams eve to et the castor and camber properly. It had 7 deg castor which is OK for the tack I suppose but I bit too much for the road it was making teh steering too heavy. In the end we settled on 3 deg neg camber, 4 deg castor and 1/16 of an inch toe out. Left back as is.

For the rear you can get Caster Brackets which is a nut and bolt method which changes the angle of the Swivel Pin by Mini Spares or KAD, one also have Tie Inn/Out

For the front Adjustable Bottom Arms and also adjustable Tie Rods.
No forgetting if you lower the car in hight you change the camber also.
