Well the usual place they can go is the hose where it fits onto the bag.
But this can be fixed- see Todd Miller's site

Somebody on here fixed some recently, I'll look for the pics I saved....
I've never had one go, so never tested one. As an engineer I'd put an air hose onto it at 120psi whilst it's in the subby and pour water in there. If there's bubbles around it you have a problem.
