Is there an easy way to get it back onto the engine block ? any tips ? hints?

(I was bleeding the clutch, undid the engine steady rod at the engine, so I could get to the bleed nipple)

:?

I assume it's a remote change, and won't rock enough.
Undo the 4 bolts about 2 or 3 turns where the remote extension bolts onto the box.
Fit the steady and retighten.

It's a PITA, just hang in there

I lost count of how many times I tried to start it when I last pulled it off (and I have nolethane bushes).

hmm, u could try a quick clamp around the other way as a spreader, one end on the fire wall/ pedal box area and one on the head...
Not sure if it would work but its worth a try :)

Thanks.

I greatly appreciate the help.

It doesn't have enough rock, so will try the 4 bolts for the remote and see how that goes.

block of wood and a jack under the GB. move the motor to the position you need. Tighten steady up and remove jack(very important, don't laugh it has been done before! )
Cheers
Aaron

no, just to lift the back of the motor - thereby tilting it forward
