If you guys are running 12" wheels or bigger I'd look at nuclear_mini's Camira setup. Better and stronger, IMO- has S track width and NO spacers on the drive flange.
Still uses drum brake uprights (swivel hubs), but the C/V and drive flange is S type (stronger).

No, I'm using a pair of Mini Disk Brake hubs/uprights with the Cooper S callipers. So it all bolts together.

agreed - I was looking at my S disks the other day, and comparing with a set of 8.4"s I have, and it'd be pretty cheap to make a set of S disks if you buy a second hand set of 8.4"s - all you need is rotors (buy new anyway, ~$75 each) and calipers.... don't know how much a set of S calipers are...

SK - Cooper S and Mini 8.4 use different drive flanges, so the S disk will not bolt up to the 8.4 drive flange. Probably an 8.4" disk machined down to 7.5" diameter, with 8.4 drive flanges and S callipers would work. That's what I want to try anyway.

A big thankyou to David and Tyron for the pictures and diagrams for this conversion, they have helped me a lot. :D

Just one :?: To fit tapper wheel bearings in do you still use the spacer between the inner and outer bearings as I have not seen them before.

Cheers Pete

Yes the tapered rollers come with a spacer in the box. It's ground to thickness, to suit that particular pair of bearings. Don't mix it up with others, or run without it. 8)

Has anybody been using there Honda disks on the track :?:

I am wanting to know which pads you are using and whether you are happy with the way they are performing.

I was planning on using Bendix Ultimate pads....but it turns out to be a typo in their book and they say they have never made them or metal king pads for a Civic.

I will make sure I can buy a decent pad before I go and buy my setup as there is quite a few different calapers used with the DBA191 disks over that 1980 to 1990 period. :?

Can anybody help
