Mate i have just done it to mine. Wire wheels are great, but extremely unsafe so be very careful when using one.

I use POR-15 products for rust on my car. Google it - Awesome stuff.

I've recently done my Mini ones and I've just done the ones on my Morris. Make sure you get any bog/putty/seam sealer out of the seam... Get something sharp and pointy and dig it out as water gets in behind and rusts out the seam :x Both my cars were like this. Then I use either a wire brush or wheel, give it a good thorough brushing, rust converter, prime, etc. Depending on the severeness of the rust, it may need more than a wire brush and converter...

This is what I used after using a small wire wheel. A small screwdriver with a bend to get at the seams:

I use a broken hacksaw blade to scrape out the rain gutters. Works a treat and you can get it all the corners with it. Use flexible seam sealer to reseal, not bog!

How about Sikaflex? Is this good?

same thing, sikaflex is 'a' leading brand of flexible sealer, possibly 'the' leading brand. The modern products are all very good though, I can't remember a complaint about any brand or product

Yep, Sikaflex is very good. It's important that it's a quality paintable type, not the cheap crap from Bunnings for bathrooms etc.
