This is how the doc did it on mine.
The brass adapters came from Pirtek, the pipe behind the PCV valve is actually a hydro pipe so don't let that confuse you. Otherwise it just goes straight into the manifold.
Ps Graham Russell does not recommend the balance tube effect between the ports on the manifold. There's probably not much he and DrMini don't agree on, but that's one of them.

i assume the pcv valve allows air out of the engine but not vaccum from the inlet into the crankcase?

the vented cap doesnt work on mine, it spits oil out of it. I think it might be due to the boost.

i want to pipe the catch can back into the carb, but i'll need a pcv valve yea?

No PCV valve used if it goes to the carb, it goes onto the vacuum line at the side.
Like this- note I have since teed it to both carbs.
