G'day All,

I'm hopefully getting a 67 round nose deluxe shell soon and my question is...
apart from the bonnet, lights and grill, will the doors, boot, interior and all mechanicals
fit from a flat nose into a round nose?

i wouldnt use a squarenose for parts if you're doing a deluxe,

there are lots of minor differences that will add up..

At the end of the day it's YOUR Mini, there were zillions of Deluxes made, unless you want to make yet another boring stock Deluxe I would use a later motor and box.
Example- some parts for the 3 synchro gearboxes are getting scarce, a later 1098 or 998 with the all synchro box is much nicer, and has better ratios too. Fit a Mini-K box if you want to keep the remote (as you have the mountings in there now). A rodchange box will fit but is more work.

i agree about using the engine, but the differences in the interior etc make it a pain, changing driveshafts also.

No need to change driveshafts unless you go a rodchange box with potjoints, 74 on. Mini-K had rubber ones same as Deluxe.

that's the first question you need to ask yourself - do you want it original or customised?
Yes many, clubbie parts fit, but they are not original.
