Yes it is.

The Pot Joints are the CV style joints on the inner end of the Drive Shafts at each side of the Diff. Not sure what year they started using these but my 76 Clubby has them.

as you know i have rod change.....i have been told to TAP the roll pin out of the sleeve.. however i can push the rod up a couple of mm to make the roll pin CLOSE to being flush, but when i TAP the roll pin it wont budge... there is plenty of lubrication there.

does anybody have any ideas or solutions???
cheers leighton

not really sure what you trying to say put get a punch(forget what size someone else should know) and a few hits should have the roll pin out.

Oops. The one marked in the photo is a Roll Pin, but I usually hit the other one out (sideways) as that one (marked) can hit the Diff Housing (if I recall, its been a while).

I think :?:

Put it into reverse, then you can tap the roll pin all the way out

Hmm.. I have always knocked the vertical roll pin out with the car in reverse.. sideways is too hard to get a good swing with a hammer without hitting something else..
