Does the choke cable need to be lengthened when relocating the carb onto the SC12 when using Ben's kit or does the standard length choke cable still fit?

Anyone? I've got an old choke cable with a white knob that I really want to keep. A place called speedy cable can extend it for me but I need to know if teh standard mini choke cable length would be OK?
