I would get the box done first It's then out of the way and you can fidlle with the rest......
I't realy depends on what you won't...Rull race or realiable...I realy can't give you a cost but...if you want it realibale make sure the box is done first..

If you wont to spend the money...Balance and ighten the crank and flywheel with the backing Plate..if the Bores are good just re ring them..this is up to you'r Mac...get a nice Cam,..... and do some nice head work.
What are you thicking for a carb..stay with a SU or something else;....Del/Web/Turbo/Sup
Price wise it realy depends on what you want and what you require from it

i have a fair bit o 1275 stuff if u are interested pm me. but the more u fix the less will break. so fair i have only broken things that i should have replaced in the first place but didn't have the cash. take your time with the build. a make it a quick engine first cause u will be kicking your self later down the line when u want more power.

dobt build it for a mild revving 1310 and go out on the street and try pull crazy rev's out of it,coz it will go bang,and i dont wanna pull your motor out half a hour arfter i just put it in

ill do the box and diff,and stick the motor in for ya,but your better off letting someone with more no-how do your motor.
