Tuneup time for the 1360...
Adjusted the rockers to .021"/.022" inlet/exhaust. As GR specifies for an RE282 cam and 1.5 rockers.
Closed the plugs back up to .032" (Pulsar dizzy and GT40R coil).
Timing is still perfect (has belt drive kit and electronic dizzy, hard to beat).
Didn't touch the carby, the 45 Dellorto has stayed in tune for years. :D

All ready for dyno day now chaps.

Gave the Cooper S a run at the Bryant Park hillclimb in the Haunted Hills near Moe. It was the first time they'd used the Figure-8 version of the track, so it took a bit of learning. The weather was freezing but at least it dried out during the day -Great track :D .

My Mini taught me some new skills today-
I learnt how to fill holes with the MIG
I learnt the you clean the surrounding metal with the flapper wheel BEFORE you cut a piece of metal to fit a gap.
and that out of the two methods - cutting and inerting a piece is easier to grind back then grinding back lot of weld in a plug.

The door frame is coming along nicely.

I tried my hand at upholstering today and totally sucked at it.
I've got my van in at the auto trimmers getting the rear all lined and better looking for the mini50 show and thought I'd save some time and money by covering the speaker boxes myself.
Not a wise move. I think the trimmers might have a @#$k up to fix as well.
