yesterday, installed rover 65amp alternator, fixed a leak where the exhaust meets the manifold, fixed a couple of rattles in the engine bay, got steve to weld a bracket back up on my bonnet.

today bought and installed a new radio antenna that sits on the top of the windscreen. Installed new wiper blades.

this week, install new roof cage. Install UHF radio, and antennae.

getting closer to leaving Uggboot Central, Adelaide.

Finally hooked up the vac advance on the 123 dizzy correctly. I've been running it connected to the crankcase vent port on one of the twins, but discovered in an odds-and-sods drawer a PCV fitting for the manifold. So, fitted a reducer to that and attached the vac line there.

Haven't driven it yet, so have bugger-all idea if it'll make any noticable difference. Theory says I should get more advance with a crack of throttle (i.e. high manifold vacuum), which should improve fuel economy a bit and give a little better throttle response. Time will tell :)

Put a gas strut onto the bonnet then bent the bonnet when testing it.
