Pressure backflushed the radiator and engine seperately.
Put green stuff where there was red stuff
Put a new radiator cap in place of the broken one.
Put pop rivets in the back ends of the chrome trim strip cos they kept moving out.

Swapped my 180 air corrector jets for 170s. Will go for a drive tomorrow with a wideband A/F meter hooked up.

Finally got around to buying a set of new piston springs for the carbs, chucked a matched pair of reds in to replace what appears to have been one red, one blue

You may need to either lift the engine up slightly or remove the wheel and top ball joint so the drive shaft has a bit more movement.

Cheers, will give removing the ball joint a try. Tried moving the engine up and down to get some clearance but couldn't get enough room.

Do you need to grease the uni joints? I know oil kills them but wasn't sure if they go in dry or greased up.
Haynes manual says nothing.
