Also PK are you looking at doing some for the rear door window's on Van's ?

Now that would be good !! 8) :)

Good question,,

If you just need them for your rear window(s), call your local auto glazier, most of them can fit a demister to your existing window.

The ones I'm looking at for the front are completely transparent, no lines... so for the rear this set up isn't 100% needed.

No, No just the rear door windows only, some of us have solid side Van's and it just sounds like a good idea, especially if you are in an area prone to frosts

I'd be keen on one, like everyone else, it would depend on price

Okkie dokkie,,

I heard back from these guys today.. heres the deal

Morris1100 to answer your questions.....

"Heat wire diameter: Ø0.03mm,

Wire to wire distance: 3.0mm

Heater Resistance: 0.51Ω

Voltage: 12v

Amp: 23.5A

Wires separated to two areas: LH & RH, each area have two
connectors (so 4 connectors in total not incl.)

Connector wire diameter: Ø2.0-2.5mm"

And as for the other question everyone else had

$690.00 plus GST... that was for a batch of 20!

Now, it came out a bit dear. So I'm not so sure about wether or not its worth it...

What do you guys reckon?

Ok, a couple of people mentioned that they were after re window demisters?

Well, it appears that buying kits is not as easy as it once was...

This is the only one I could find

http://cgi.ebay.com.au/UNIVERSAL-REAR-W ... 3ef56444f5

I fitted it the other week and it works a treat. When the glazier came to fit it, he was suprised that I managed to track one down.

So I thought I'd put it up. Hope it helps someone
