Thought I would try bleeding the clutch again as Im pretty new to this and wasnt sure if I had done it properly. Guess what? Being the noob I am, I hadnt!
There was some air still in the lines so with some help from a friend I did it properly this time and even better it sorted out my problem!
Just took the car for a drive and gear changes are as they should be. Mind you I think I will still invest in a few new parts as the eye holes on the clutch lever arm to the spring and from the spring to the slave cylider are quite stretched and look very brittle. A couple of times it crunches a little when trying to get into reverse so ill buy those parts on payday.
I think Ill play with the stop bolt again too as I may have adjusted it too much as Im not hitting the floor completely putting my foot down but ill leave that for tomorrow afternoon
Thanks for all your help, this is a great forum to be a noob on!
