Well, technically I fail. But recently, I found out that I had a very bad leaking hose into my left carby. So much so that, when running, it was actually a constant stream of fuel leaking out, not just drops. So I got a new hose and fixed it. In the process I found that 2 of my manifold bolts were not at all screwed up!

Loose as BRO.

I buffed 2-3 mm of the tread of the A008's. The fun and enjoyable way

We dragged the project Moke up a steep ramp out of the garden, and the new owner took it away. :P

Mucking around with spacers in the rear wheels today. Need to get the roadworthy done.
Fixed wipers, washers.
Investigating tyres & spacers.
Now ordering parts for next weekends effort. Mirror, gear stick knob & brake drums...

Cheers,
mark.

Strangely enough. I did some more rust repairs, this time on the boot. I was going to source a new one (thanks to all those who helped), but rejuvenated by the success I had with fixing my passenger side door I thought I would give it a go... Several hours later and it's now sitting in the shed all primered up next to all the other bits that are going to be painted, hopefully by the end of the week, or Sunday..

Reinstalled the newly-rebuilt speedo and put the wooden dash back together. Took it for a spin and wow, for the first time I think ever I have an accurate speedo in a Mini! 8) (Well, accurate up to about 90 km/h.. over that and it gets a bit optimistic )
