I finally made up and installed my front door cards. I've been meaning to do it since the 2008 mini muster

Well the window should already be wound down due to the intense heat that comes along with a mini, so just grab the window frame :D

Isn't that why all the quarter window things are broken?

They look great.

I got my file out and filed my already painted door lock holes to hold some ndl22a laser locks. Pulled all the locking stuff out and it all works a charm now. Need one more part (the metal locking plate that goes on the back) and I will be happy as a clam. Will cut some up on the weekend.

Yeah it's a bit challenging sometimes, generally I use the quarter window catches or the open window. I use to have Camira door arm rests with handles in them but they don't look good enough now  .

After trying to get Hetty going for five nights in a row, reading every post to do with setting static timing I've not been having much luck because my brain has been bobbing around in a pool of mucus (I's gots the flu).

I am finally well enough and my brain is finally functioning that I read through everything again and it made sense. Pulled everything apart (again) reset everything to where it is supposed to be, I squirted some "Start ya Bastard" down the carby and turned her over..... Bare in mind however that the full exhaust system is not on yet... Pop Pop Pop she went with beautiful blue flames beltching from the extractors. I thought to myself "Perhaps doing this on the carpet in the shed isn't such a good idea".

I turned the lights off and went inside beer in hand..

She can be put back together tomorrow... :)
