Hey guys
Trying to track down where to buy some tube for a roll cage from ..
im after some 44mm CDS tube and 38mm CDS tube but most of the normal steel suppliers dont stock ...
So i wanna know where to get it ...
Im in Adelaide and there are a few places that do thier own roll cages, so they are obviously getting it from a stockist .. And i wanna know who

Any help would be great
Thanks Beanie

Do you have Blackwoods or One steel in Adelaide? Should be able to get it from them.

It's not made in Australia. Canadians make it.
Funny how CAMS wont allow the stuff we make here be used for roll cages anymore. It was good enough for Dick Johnson when he went off in his Greens Tuf Falcon.

If you had looked closely at that cage after the crash you would not use it either. It should not have failed like it did.

I don't agree with much that CAMS does but I have seen a lot of aluminium roll cages fail when they shouldn't.

CAMS copy the FIA who are basically French so they want a French std and that's why the (french) Canadians make it.

Australian steel should be allowed IMO.

Beanie

If all else fails, ask Walker Chassis at Houghton if you can buy some from them. You may just get stung with their mark up....
