There is a reason that they spent money and exerted effort to change the valve guide design.

what if i loctite the seals down? i read a post from a while ago where someone mentioned you can loctite the seals to the tops of the guides.

I loctite my USA supplied Viton seals on, but they have a brass casing.

ok thanks for confirming that drmini. i wasnt sure if loctite seals rubber?

ok, so what are some suggestions if i was to use the current valve guides.

remove the cap seals, and just stick with the orings?

how much will it smoke if i just use the origonal oring setup?

Jason

I'd stick with the O-rings on a smallbore head if using a sporty cam.
If the guides and valves are good (preferably new) it should be fine.
