Did you get a chance to meausure the filter thickness mate?


They are 14mm thick so looks like the 24mm I thought was a bit small. So there is 28mm of filter thickness over the whole diameter.

Righteo, thanks for that mate. Im about 2mm shy.... I think the bench grinder can fix that!!! Or Ill just trim the filter i bit to clear the stub stack.

So are the bases you have the right diameter?

Keep in mind that if you are thinking that, these filters are meant to be wedged together between two plates, as shown in the full kit. I don't think you could just plug it in to your ramflow filter base & have it work.

Yeah yeah, Ill end up buying the full kit as you have. But I need to be able to clear the stub stack. I was kind of assuming the bases would all be about the same size...?

The inside edge of my base is a perfect fit around the air filter, no gaps etc. I'd compare your bases against the outside diameter of the air filter as listed on the K&N site, not from my original measurements. That should give you a pretty good idea.
