Rules are needed to prevent dodgy installs.
When we bought Barney (`67 S replica, since sold) the PO had fitted front inertia reels by drilling holes in the rear bins and bolting the reels on.
One decent confrontation with something, and they would have ripped the bins off the floor.
1st mod I made was removal, it's got standard statics in the front now.
Couldn't fit reels to the front, it has early Clubby seats and they would foul the reel.
