Hi just wiring my 63 with a leyland clubman harnesss and have been going through all wiring diagrams that i have(3 workshop manuals and downloads from here) and was wondering if there is anywhere i can download a wiring diagram for the leyland mainly to find wire colours and trace colours. I am using the leyland harness because i have fitted a pulsar dizzy gemini starter and alternator and hoped the harness might have been easier(and cheaper) than getting sparky to do whole new one THANKS

Wiring colours are the same across the Mini range.

OK, if it helps;-

Black Earth (to body)
Brown Live from battery (direct)
Purple Live from battery via fuse
White Live via Igntion Switch (no fuse)
Green Live via Ignition Switch and fuse
Red Park Lamps
Blue Headlights

Those are the 'basic' colours. From these trace colours are added to further define what the circuit is for

It's probably worth undoing anyway to check if someone has added or joined wires. You find all sorts of horrors from previous owners handiwork.
