Don't over estimate the effect tilting the engine and/or carb has - if a few degrees mattered (even that last pic) then cars wouldn't go up and down hills.....

From inside you can't tell that there is a box. So much more simpler...

You have to have a discerning eye to figure out that it's 1inch further back than usual

You can't tell me that turning your engine, modifying engine steadies, gearbox mounts, engine mounts, radiator mod to fit, even having front of the sump protrude further down than it is now is better than just cutting a square hole in the firewall?

It is reversible to a certain degree. IF it aint an S or collectable car, then why not?

I like my steering wheel too lol. Have tried numerous wheels, this one feels right for a mini.

Yes it's a moto lita. The horn push: had to "modify" a volvo horn push that originally came with another moto lita wheel that I had. Now it's a push fit.

Tilting the engine forward up to about 20 - 25 mm is dead easy, and reversable, if (as you have) a rod change set up. The biggest 'hassel' maybe the exhaust. Any carb fitted will need to be roughly at the same 'level' as it was intended to be, but does not need to be accurate in any way. A tilt forward of up to 15 mm would not need any mods in his dept.

Won't bother the cooling system, other than to make it easier to fill the radiator, will also improve the lubrication system as the oil pick up is in the front and so will be 'deeper'.

Rover move the entire engine forward with longer steadys and different drillings in the subframe.

No that's a brand new Smiths tacho with a smiths pod. I spent $2000 on the interior overhaul last year so hopefully it's not camera trickery!

Cheers Grant!

MGRocket: they are period rally accessories!! Switch extensions are for cars fitted with 5 point harnesses. Once you're strapped in, there aint no way to reach the lights or whipers... GR himself gave me those 8)
